VP/SVP Experience Design

The Head of Experience Design for A&G inspires and influences client and internal teams to create ground-breaking, compelling, end-to-end digital experiences that deliver measurable business and customer outcomes. This role is instrumental in uniting brand communication strategies with customer experiences to help our client’s brands be their best self in every interaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Advisor - Partner with senior business leaders to develop customer-obsessed experience strategy across the range of brand engagement touchpoints
  • Executive presence – the ability to command attention, inspire confidence, and guide strategic discussions with senior-level management
  • Design leadership - Inspire the next generation of UX leadership and talent
  • Bias for action - Bring clarity to ambiguous situations and lead teams to progress forward
  • Agency advocate - Bring visibility to A&G within and outside the firm, helping us attract and retain the best talent while demonstrating our thought-leadership in user experience strategy.

Design:

  • Hands-on design leadership of UX team to craft simple, elegant and effective brand engagement across, web, mobile, email, voice and digital/physical touchpoints
  • • Collaborate with brand strategy, creative, analytics and media teams to build a holistic customer experience vision
  • • Lead all aspects of multi-disciplinary UX design, including research and personas; journey mapping; information architecture, UX, UI and visual design; prototyping and usability/end-user testing.
  • • Transcend traditional ideas, bringing breakthrough creative processes, ideas, and new ways of collaborating cross-discipline to client work
  • • Understanding of latest Marketing Technology, CDP, CMS, Personalization, etc and its potential to drive growth for A&G clients
  • • Understanding of emerging technology—Voice, AR, AI, etc and its potential to elevate brand engagement for A&G clients
  • • Lead UX visioning sessions with Senior Level clients, utilize various methodologies such as design thinking and jobs to be done to craft frameworks that organize disparate features into a strategic roadmap
  • • BA/BS required, Masters in a design related discipline preferred
  • 10-12 year’s experience in User Experience field
  • • Deep expertise and hands-on experience with the latest UX / design techniques
  • • Deep expertise and hands-on experience with the breadth of human centered design methodology
  • • Deep experience building and leading cutting edge, User Experience design teams within agency or consulting environments 
  • • Portfolio of user experience / digital brand engagement case studies
