In Boston, we need a

Associate Art Director

A&G is looking for an Associate Art Director who is passionate about shaping ideas that motivate people to engage with brands. As part of our creative team, you will support the Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Writers, to usher an idea from concept through launch with a fresh design aesthetic across a multitude of our client’s brands. And, you’ll teach us a thing or two as much as you will learn! You will be expected to utilize your full range of skills across any project lifecycle -- from pitch decks to launch creative.


  • Concept ideas that motivate and engage
  • Work across clients; able to balance workload effectively
  • Participate in review sessions with internal teams and clients
  • Partner with copywriters and CD’s to execute on a vision 
  • Design and execute brand ideas to span several mediums including broadcast, print, outdoor, experiential, mobile, responsive websites, social, videos, email and collateral.
  • Driven to investigate, innovate and develop trends in creative
  • Responsible for the quality of execution and quality of the thinking and design
  • Be able to effectively visualize and create concepts into the end product by following directions on photography style, imagery, and typography


  • A strong portfolio of design and ideas
  • Agency and/or previous relevant internship experiences are a plus. 
  • Details, details, details. You must be obsessed with design details.  
  • Conversant in all media
  • Ability to organize and prioritize projects 
  • Demonstrated experience with Adobe Suite --  Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Experience with presentation design apps like keynote, PPT and Google Slides a plus
  • Experience in motion/animation i.e. After Effects also a plus but not essential
