Public Relations Intern
A&G is seeking an impressive rising college junior or senior to join our PR agency team for the Spring. The internship will be conducted in a remote work model and we’ll supply you with a laptop to allow daily video chats, client meetings and mentorship from your team. A&G is an integrated PR and advertising agency in Philadelphia and Boston. Our award-winning PR department is fast-growing and always on the lookout for great ideas. At A&G, you’ll do real PR and social media work as an intern.
What You'll Do Here:
- Support the PR team on an array of account activities, including monitoring and reporting, research and client service.
- Actively engage in media relations efforts.
- Support social media planning and offer proactive social ideas for clients.
- Work with the broader PR team to brainstorm, develop and implement campaign strategies and tactics.
Stuff You've Done & Stuff You're Good At:
- You’re studying PR or a related field and are interested in pursuing a professional PR career.
- You relish the ability to pivot between various clients, industries and tasks. You’re eager to build a strong foundation of skills cross-industry.
- You’re self-motivated but also very eager to learn from a close-knit team.
- You love to consume the news and stay up-to-date with current trends.
- You’re a social media whiz and follow it ferociously both personally and professionally.
- You’re fearless when it comes to phone follow-up to reporters and news desks (you may text with your grandparents, but we need you to telephone the press).
- You have impeccable attention to detail and value organization.
- You have working knowledge of tools like Muck Rack, Critical Mention, Google Suite, etc.
