Employee Experience Associate, Talent & Culture

The Employee Experience Associate is the supportive force behind both, handling administrative tasks and providing support to coworkers. The ideal person for the job will be a creative problem solver with excellent communication skills, impeccable attention to detail, and a people person. The Employee Experience Associate will report directly to the SVP, Talent & Operations. The main goal of this role is two-fold: provide our employees with special moments to enrich the experience of what it means to be an A&G employee and to support our employees, the Talent team, and the CEO with administrative tasks to ensure our employees have the tools and resources needed to perform their best work. In order to give employees those moments and the support required, this role will constantly stay on the edge of how to make work-life integration easier, how to build and foster connections among a geographically dispersed team, and how to foster internal communications so that everyone feels informed and supported.  This role will be a vital part of the Talent Team to provide a high level of service to our employees.  

Main Responsibilities:

  • This role plays an integral part in providing and maintaining a positive and productive workspace environment including ordering of office supplies and food items when necessary
  • Ensure optimal operation of office equipment, supplies, and inventories with preventive maintenance. Maintain a high quality office appearance, neat and fully stocked kitchen and catering room
  • Provide direct support to the talent team, including sourcing, onboarding, interview scheduling, email correspondence, and generation and distribution of memos, letters, spreadsheets, forms, and faxes
  • Maintain Talent personnel files, new employee records and ensure compliance of all employee files
  • Facilitate Employee Recognition awards and communication 
  • Will share the internal culture initiatives externally through a strong partnership with PR for branding and visibility opportunities
  • Manage the planning and execution of events and employee perks in conjunction with the executive leadership team and Talent Team 
  • Partner with leaders to coordinate and organize meetings and off-sites as needed
  • Lead the initiatives for internal swag for employees in conjunction with events
  • Tracks and analyzes expenses for Finance tracking
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned by Talent and CEO 

Communications

  • Construct and send relevant and engaging communications with employees
  • Develop and update content to be shared with all our employees, including employee benefits content 
  • Champion the voice of our employees (via surveys and establishing other valuable feedback loops) to identify trends on the employee engagement, partner with leadership on prioritizing opportunity areas, and support with the creation 
  • Handle incoming inquiries main telephone line
  • Serve as the first point of contact on employee questions
  • Manage contact database, employee lists, and inventories
  • Work within applicant tracking system which includes ensuring up to date and accurate candidate information, documenting candidate feedback and creating/posting job descriptions
  • Managing summer intern experience 
  • Managing return to work process, including compliance and management of vaccination proof, ensuring all employees, vendors, and visitors adhere to CDC and office safety guidelines
  • Meeting with the CEO regularly in regards to managing calendar and travel
