Search Engine Marketing Specialist

We’re looking for a results-driven SEM manager who has a love of all things search. You’ll work alongside the VP of SEM, in our fast growing SEM business, to develop and execute effective search strategies as well as work with our amazing analytics team to uncover insights and optimizations across our campaigns. You’ll also have the chance to expand into other performance marketing tactics as well. Allen & Gerritsen isn’t like other agencies. This role offers you a chance to grow your existing skills, but continue to learn within a fully integrated agency, all with a unique approach to planning. You’ll be an integral part of an amazingly talented team, not someone siloed exclusively into SEM.  We’re a full-service independent ad agency, so expect exposure to other key disciplines such as creative, analytics, public relations, & brand strategy.

  • Strategize, plan, execute and optimize search campaigns for a variety of clients across varying industries.
  • Utilize data to extract valuable campaign insights and proactively provide suggestions for campaign improvement.
  • Assist in forecasting reach and scale for campaigns using keyword planning tools and search trends.
  • Develop keyword and text ads.
  • Maintain pacing and budgeting.
  • 1+ years of experience running search campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Continuing hunger to learn and stay up with industry trends and changes.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and still have fun while doing so.
  • Experience with Kenshoo, Marin, DoubleClick, Shopify, YouTube or Google Display integrations is a plus.
