Account Executive

A&G is looking for an Account Executive to join our Business Leadership team. This person runs the day-to-day management of our client's marketing plan including managing recommendations, execution of projects in partnership with project management, as well as managing account budgets. The Account Executive is expected to have a complete and unquestioned understanding of their assigned clients' business and marketing objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • In addition to the core account responsibilities, the Account Executive is expected to take part in other functions such as new business pitches and ad hoc projects. This role is a step toward future leadership within the team and the agency overall
  • Manage, evaluate, allocate resources, analyze and respond to project change requests that optimize the utilization of resources
  • Overseeing client relationships(s) with responsibility for account growth, resource allocation, client satisfaction, prioritization of all deliverables and ensuring the quality of work meets agency standards and client objectives
  • Autonomously develop an engagement strategy and partner with the team and discipline leads to execute it, involving people at the optimal levels for project success and overall account utilization (goals, deliverables, schedule, budget, resources)
  • Lead cross-discipline teams to achieve desired strategic results for clients
  • Communicate status and identify issues affecting the overall ability to complete tasks within agreed schedules; do so in a timely manner
  • Manage project P&L by negotiating scopes of work, making sure work is delivered on budget and invoicing clients according to proper terms
  • Must have strong presentation, verbal, and written skills
  • Works well under pressure and motivates and engages the team to produce the best possible results
  • Develop and present compelling, persuasive, and innovative client presentations
  • Mentor others with a demonstrated interest in helping others to develop their marketing and professional skills
  • Perform successfully with minimal supervision

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience and previous agency experience is required
  • Deep knowledge of integrated projects and all the steps involved with a proven curiosity for uncovering opportunities for innovation
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with emerging marketing channels including social media and mobile
  • Excellent organizational and collaboration skills
  • Influential communication skills (including presentation skills)
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of resource allocation, workflow and infrastructure
