Summer 2023 - Technology Intern
The IT intern will work closely with A&G’s IT Team to assist with day-to-day operations, help desk, planning, research, and other internal projects. We are looking for someone who has a strong passion for technology and assisting our employees embrace that technology. You provide enthusiasm and creativity while we’ll provide mentorship and opportunities to contribute. We are looking for students who have interpersonal savvy, a passion for brands and an insatiable curiosity about popular culture and technology. We want you to think big, solve business problems and be self-motivated. You should have uncompromising attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Assist IT staff with daily operational tasks and help employees with tech-related questions
- Troubleshoot and solve issues with endpoints, servers, and other systems
- Train and help employees use internal systems and software
- Research new technologies, adoption, and implementation strategies
- Create and maintain documentation for company intranet and end user knowledge base
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year accredited college or university studying Technology, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or similar.
- At least Intermediate abilities with macOS, Adobe CS, and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with Windows Server 2008, Exchange, Active Directory, and corporate networks a plus
- Development skills in HTML, .NET, PHP, SQL, and other development tools a plus
- Ability to solve problems creatively and independently
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A proactive attitude
- Enjoy interacting with and helping people
