Allen & Gerritsen was one of the top agencies bringing home Hatch Bowls at the 59th Annual Francis W. Hatch Awards, presented by The Ad Club for creative excellence in advertising. The Hatch Awards are New England’s most prestigious awards for creative branding and marketing.
A&G brought home 16 Hatch Bowls, a Gold, 6 Silvers and 9 Bronze and awarded 13 merit certificates for clients including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Museum of Science, Pine Street Inn, Waters Corporation and Ninety Nine Restaurants. The agency was also recognized for its rebranding, which launched earlier this year.
“These awards span offices, teams, clients and craft – and are a true reflection of perseverance and passion. They speak volumes about what we love to do and the people we do it with,” said Jennifer Putnam, Chief Creative Officer at Allen & Gerritsen. “I could not be prouder of not just the winners, but the way A&G celebrated one another and the way the Hatch community celebrated us all! It was a night filled with congratulations, handshakes, hugs and of course “hey…are you hiring?!”
Venables Bell & Partners took home the coveted Best of Show award for Boston-based client Reebok. When it came down to the hardware count, Allen & Gerritsen was a close second to Hill Holliday, who won 23 bowls. The event was held on October 24 at The House of Blues in Boston and was attended by a crowd of nearly a thousand. Nearly 850 creative pieces from New England-based brands and agencies were entered for consideration.
