Allen & Gerritsen Announces New Executive Practice Leads for Public Relations

Independent full-service advertising agency Allen & Gerritsen promotes Jason Lewis as SVP of Public Relations and Eva Wasko as VP of Public Relations


PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — April 21, 2021Allen & Gerritsen (A&G), an independent, creative-led advertising and public relations agency, today announced that it has promoted Jason Lewis to senior vice president of public relations, and practice lead for both Boston and Philadelphia, and reports to A&G Chief Executive Officer Andrew Graff. In this role, Jason continues to lead the department’s growth across PR, social media, brand reputation, executive counsel and more and oversees all agency external communications. Reporting to Jason is newly appointed vice president of public relations, Eva Wasko.

Jason Lewis previously led A&G’s Philadelphia public relations practice as vice president. During his nearly three years at Allen & Gerritsen, he has built and managed a diverse and cross-functional team of professionals serving clients in healthcare, clean energy, civil rights, OTC consumer healthcare products, technology, home remodeling, tourism and hospitality, higher education, economic development and more. Jason serves as counsel to CEOs, C-Suite leaders and elected officials, and volunteers his time with the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia’s Pay it Forward mentoring program and its diversity, equity and inclusion subcommittee.

Jason has nearly 20 years of experience in public and private sector communications having worked with Medicaid managed care organization AmeriHealth Caritas, former Philadelphia Councilmember Blondell Reynolds Brown, and volunteering as communications director on the campaign of sitting Philadelphia Councilmember Katherine Gilmore Richardson. Jason began his career in the entertainment industry as a talent agent for theater, film and television.

Eva Wasko has been promoted to Vice President of Public Relations (from Director of Public Relations). As VP, Eva leads the practice’s day-to-day operations, including client service, new business efforts and supporting department growth with a specialty in consumer PR, influencer marketing and brand integration. She also leads integrated collaboration across agency departments, including strategy, analytics, creative, paid media and production.

Prior to A&G, Eva served as an account supervisor in the Los Angeles and New York City offices of global PR agency Burson Cohn & Wolfe (previously Cohn & Wolfe), leading and supporting PR, social media, content development and influencer marketing efforts for a diverse range of national consumer brands including 3M, Microsoft, 20th Century Studios Home Entertainment and The J.M. Smucker Company. She was also a member of the agency’s global Digital Innovation Group. She began her career in New York City working with luxury hospitality brands in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
